Online Educational Session with Venezuelan Lithuanian Antonio Baronas

2025-01-28

Vytautas Magnus University’s World Lithuanian University warmly invites you to explore Lithuanian diasporas from different corners of the world.

A fun way for younger students from Lithuanian schools and Lithuanian heritage schools to get to know Lithuanians from other countries is through an online educational session with Venezuelan Lithuanian Antonio Baronas.

During the session, Antonio Baronas shares stories about Lithuanian life in Venezuela and the journey of returning to Lithuania. The session introduces Venezuela’s nature, unique animals, and exotic fruits, while comparing life in Lithuania and Venezuela. Students will have the opportunity to hear from a representative of a Lithuanian diaspora who grew up outside of Lithuania, speaks fluent Lithuanian, and offers insights into a distant country in Latin America.

Antonio Baronas, a Venezuelan Lithuanian, moved to Lithuania with his family in 2020. A former active member of the Lithuanian community in Venezuela, he continues to maintain strong connections with the diaspora there and worldwide.

Recommended for students aged 8 and above.
Duration: Up to 45 minutes
