On October 10-14, the representative of the “Nuova Antidogma Musica” union (Italy), professional harpsichordist Nijolė Dorotėja Beniušytė visited Vytautas Magnus University Music Academy under the “Erasmus+” exchange program.

The performer is from Lithuania, but currently lives and works in Italy, where she is engaged in concert and teaching activities. The personal harpsichord of the performer (a copy of Flemish Ruckers) was brought to the Academy of Music for this visit, thus creating conditions for the students of the Piano Department to better learn and understand the performance of ancient music. During the visit, a public lecture was held, followed by master classes for students. On the last day of the visit, there was a scientific presentation for the teachers and students of the Piano Department.
