On February 21, a meeting-discussion of World Lithuanian youth took place at the L. and F. Mockūnai space with the first chairman of the World Lithuanian Youth Association (PLJS) – Father Antanas Saulaitis SJ.
Father Antanas Saulaitis SJ is a prominent figure in the Lithuanian diaspora, a missionary, and a Jesuit priest. Born in Lithuania, he was forced to emigrate to the United States with his family as a child. He later worked as a missionary in Brazil, where he taught philosophy and organized Lithuanian community activities. A. Saulaitis is one of the founders and the first chairman of the World Lithuanian Youth Association (PLJS). He remains actively involved in youth initiatives and contributes to the preservation of Lithuanian identity abroad.
The discussion focused on the evolving situation of young people in a global world, particularly in the context of the current geopolitical climate.
